Get ready for the show, because Miss Medusa’s Monstrous Menagerie #2 is here!

Unlikely Heroes Studios returns to Kickstarter with a new issue of their comic, Miss Medusa’s Monstrous Menagerie #1-2. Prepare your ticket, the show is about to start!

Discover the world of Miss Medusa’s Monstrous Menagerie

It’s 1963, and having a carnival of 666 monsters ain’t the draw it used to be. Miss Medusa’s Monstrous Menagerie is one of the last two Mythic shows left in the U.S., trucking from one backwater jerkass town to the next. It’s dirty work, and sometimes you barely make the nut, but America’s still the land of plenty (of rubes). For this season at least, Miss Medusa’s hiring, and you can still run away and join the circus. (Mythics, Cryptids, Gods, and Atomics only, please. Humans need not apply.)

What happened in the first issue?

OKLAHOMA CITY, September, 1963. Miss Medusa enters contract negotiations with Belinda, Wasp-Woman of Sussex. Sharon puts a finger on Calliope’s organ and vies with a Peryton for the vacant Publicist gig. Hob the Brownie doesn’t take shit off rubes. Red Comb Andy and Trash explain why you shouldn’t f*** with unionized Faeries. Damn near everybody gags on Churnmilk Peg’s Hawt Nutz.

What will we see in this second issue?

Stavros the Cretan stares down an ant. Jersey DeVille faces the Fuzz. The new Sideshow performer has lots of guts. Lyle Bean trips on mushrooms. Miss Medusa extolls nudists. The ass head who f***ed around with Faeries finds out. «O Bottom, thou art changed!»

Let’s talk about the creative team involved in this comic!

Join writer, background artist, and colorist Paul Hanley (Doctor Who, The Unthinkables), character artist Matt Frank (Godzilla, Transformers, Power Rangers, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles), and letterer Matt Krotzer (Dark Horse, Image, Zenoscope) on a zany, colorful, darker-than-expected adventure into sixties carnaval life.
