Discover the story behind Charms
For centuries, the evil Dominion Corp has sought to unravel the secrets of the Charm-Bearers, an ancient tribe with the ability to craft and use magical jewelry. This jewelry allows them to summon fantastic beasts from another plane to fight for them.
Kaitlyn, Jo, and Brady are unaware that their lives are about to change as Kaitlyn inherits her grandma’s bracelet for her 16th birthday. Join our teenage trio on their journey that melds magic and animals into an epic fantasy adventure.
What do we know about Charms so far?
In Charms 1, we were introduced to Kaitlyn, Jo and Brady who are seemingly typical teenagers. We learn that Kaitlyn is upset that her parents are never around.
Charms 2 picked up where the first issue left off. We learned more about the teens and Kaitlyn’s parents’ secret. Kaitlyn turned 16 and received a special gift from her Grandma.
Issue 3 is will focus on Kaitlyn, Jo and Brady as they start their journey and how they handle the obstacles ahead of them.
Charms 3 is a 24-page, full-color story written by Sarah Casseday with edits by James Patrick (DC, Zenescope, and Aftershock Comics). It is about 65% complete at this point. They also have the art team of Javier Giangiacomo (line art) and Mariano Morales (colors) doing the interiors for the last 2 issues of this series.
BUT WAIT! The Charms team did something in issue 2 that they’ll continue in issue 3! Something not really being done in US comics… animated characters! As you journey along with the characters through the pages of the comic, you’re going to find QR codes. Use your mobile device to scan the QR codes and watch animated videos of our characters as they elaborate on something that happened on that page.
