Diamond Select Toys Interview Batwoman Statue Coming this Spring

She’s been an active member of the Bat family since the fifties. A Gothamite heroine starring in animated movies, and this December will appear for the first time in live action on the CW.

Batwoman better get a statue from Diamond Select!

I interviewed Zach Oat from the Diamond marketing team at New York Comic Con this year. One of the big DC reveals from the Diamond booth at con was this very Batwoman. Everyone at the booth was blown away, myself included.

Interviewing Diamond Select’s Zach Oat at NY Comic Con, for my Above and Batman Beyond Podcast:

Z: This is our comic based stuff, core of the DC universe. We’re showing off Batwoman for the first time here.

BD: Again, PVC, $45, look at that cape! That dynamism, the action. You guys really always capture the movements of these guys.

Z: They [The creators and sculptors] did a great job here!

Again, “dynamism” is the keyword with the PVC Gallery line from Diamond. The 9″ scale statues flow and move and fly; and, fight crime even. All from their standing diorama pose. Batwoman here exemplifies the line’s stunning dynamism perfectly.
