Welcome to our Indie TCG Series! It’s Time to Return to Mythrel: A Unique Fantasy Themed Collectible Trading Card Game.
Mythrel is a magical realm, hidden from the mortal world for centuries. However, it’s now accessible through a portal on Earth, where players can engage in various game modes, trade, and build their collection of physical and digital collectible trading cards. The game is currently running a Kickstarter campaign until May 15, 2023. You can join the journey here.
In Mythrel, the rules are simple: each player starts with 35 health/life and gains one mana per turn, the energy required to play cards. Players can build decks of 25-40 cards, either by using cards from their digital collection or by purchasing randomized booster packs using the in-game currency called Rel.
The first edition set, “Enter The Realm,” features over 124 unique cards of different creature types, spells, and equipment cards divided into five rarities: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Mythical, and Exotic. The digital game features a weekly “League” game mode where the top five players win booster packs and other rewards.
Mythrel also includes a card transfer feature to trade your cards with other players, deck building, four realm modes, levels, ELO, global card statistics, and leaderboards, in-game real-time realm chat, an in-game mailbox and friend list social system, and two-factor authentication support for player accounts.
The physical booster pack contains ten cards instead of nine, with the extra card being a digital redemption code card. You can redeem the code card in the digital game for a randomized booster pack of nine cards. The physical print run of the Mythrel: Enter The Realm 1st Edition Kickstarter set will only be printed to the amount of what is sold during this campaign.
Mythrel: Trading Card Game offers players a unique gaming experience with its combination of digital and physical elements. The digital version of the game allows players to try it out for free, giving them the opportunity to see if they enjoy it before committing to purchasing cards or packs. Additionally, Mythrel offers investors and collectors an external secondary market for the digital game, as cards in their collection are transferable to any other Mythrel account.
Mythrel sets itself apart from other trading card games on the market with its combination of digital, physical, and unique gaming elements. The game is being developed by CJ and Stephen, two avid trading card game players and professional graphic designers with decades of experience in the field. They are dedicated to creating an engaging and exciting trading card game experience for all.
The digital version of Mythrel is scheduled for release via Steam for Windows, macOS, Linux, and Android on June 1, 2023. Meanwhile, the physical print production for Mythrel will start once the Kickstarter campaign ends and could ship much sooner than the anticipated shipping dates.
