Just like Valentino Cruz, the main character, Ancient Future’s creator Steven White (aka Seven) was pursuing a glamorous international career – with a freshly minted advanced degree, consorting with global elite and the enforcers that serve them…”hunting dangerous people for large sums of money.”

When the world changed and the glamour ended, Seven began to take the seeds of an idea, reflect on his own journey and develop it into a full blown story – a curious investigation into an alter-ego… Valentino Cruz, a character imagined and ten years earlier.

As fortune would have it in the midst of a global pandemic, Seven recruited Aaron McConnell (illustrator of New York Times Best Seller The Comic Book Story of Beer) to illustrate and bring the shadowy world of Valentino Cruz to life.

Ancient Futures is a mind-bending journey through love lost and found, dystopian conflict, quantum physics, ancient mysticism, Afropunk and the beauty of Chaos.
